ABOUT ANDRA &
DIAMOND MINX GALLERY
A Vancouver native, Andra is a multi-talented artist and performer with a background in
ballet, tap, jazz/stage, sculpture, mask making, and costume design. She studied dance at Vancouver's Terpsichore studio,
Fine Art at Langara College, and has been appearing at festivals and events since 1986. Andra has always loved dressing up
and performing, and has won numerous awards for her costumes.
Diamond Minx is
the glittering star in the crown of Vancouver Burlesque – known for her
award winning over-the-top costume designs, Miss Minx's style drips
with rhinestones and feathers. Coming from the world of Variety
Entertainment where she wowed crowds with her Stiltwalking at the
largest parade at Mardi Gras 2000 in New Orleans, Firebreathing at
Canada Place's Canada Day Celebrations in 2003, and Samba Dancing on a
float at Carnaval 2001 in Rio de Janiero.

Minx is currently headlining monthly Burlesque Extravaganzas at
Celebrities Night Club in Vancouver and working on plans for a west
coast tour!
